An enterprise dashboard for Papers
Papers ran on spreadsheets that each told part of the story. Getting a single view meant someone stitching files together by hand before every review. I designed and built an enterprise dashboard that does that stitching automatically and puts the numbers leadership needs on one screen.

01
The problem
Key figures lived in separate files owned by different people, so every review began with reconciling them.
Two versions of the same number meant decisions waited on the question of which sheet was right.
02
What I built
- A cleaned, modelled dataset that brings the separate sources together, with one definition for each metric.
- A UI-first dashboard: a KPI overview at the top, drill-down from summary to detail, and filters for period and segment.
- A refresh flow that keeps the dashboard current without copy-paste.
03
How it works
- Step 01
Collect
Source spreadsheets and exports are pulled in with Power Query.
- Step 02
Clean and model
Data is cleaned, typed and shaped into a star schema, with one definition for each metric.
- Step 03
Measure
DAX measures compute each KPI once, so every visual agrees.
- Step 04
Explore
Leadership starts at the overview and drills into any number to see what is behind it.
04
Outcome
- One trusted view of the business instead of a folder of spreadsheets.
- Reviews start from the dashboard rather than from reconciling files.
